Back by popular demand, GSC will be bringing back its educational outreach program for students in grades 7-12 — Camp 3D! The sessions will focus on developing a student’s skills in SOLIDWORKS 3D engineering software, which has 3.25 million users in nearly 250,000 organizations worldwide.
Camp 3D! – Designed for Students in Grades 7-12
Camp 3D! is designed for students in grades 7-12 as an introduction to 3D modeling using SOLIDWORKS. This four-day “summer camp,” which will feature both classroom and hands-on instruction, is a great opportunity for teenagers to get an early start using this powerful 3D engineering software.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to create parts, assemblies, and drawings in SOLIDWORKS. Students will also complete the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) practice test in preparation for taking the actual test on their own if they so choose. The CSWA certification proves an individual’s SOLIDWORKS expertise with cutting-edge skills that businesses seek out and reward.
Camp 3D! is priced affordably at $150, which includes lunch throughout the event, the course book, and a personalized 3D printed part. This year, sessions will be held:
